Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a television presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in the month of May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her new political interest to her experiences as a mother during the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she was a witness to the US elections for president during her time in Jordan. She saw the effects it had on citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
